BOISE, Idaho — 2019 property tax assessments have already been sent out to Idaho homeowners.
But did you know that an increase in the value of your property doesn't automatically equal a tax increase?
Homeowners in 24 counties can now estimate their property taxes by using the Idaho State Tax Commission's online calculator.
The estimates do not include fees for things like solid waste and forest protection, which often appear on tax notices.
Estimates might not include levies for new taxing districts and recent voter-approved funds.
Actual tax amounts will be determined after cities, counties and other taxing districts set their budgets later this summer.
