Robber strikes at Nampa Stinker station

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Nampa convenience store at gunpoint early Monday morning.

NAMPA, Idaho — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Nampa convenience store at gunpoint early Monday morning. 

The robbery happened at 12:25 a.m. at the Stinker station at 224 Holly Street.

According to police, the man came into the store, brandished a gun, and demanded money from the cash register. After the clerk handed over the money and a carton of cigarettes, the robber left and was last seen running south from the store. 

The suspect is described as a white man standing about 5'5" and weighing about 200 pounds. He was wearing khaki-colored pants and a gray hoodie with what appeared to be an orange Boise State Broncos logo on the front.

Anyone with information is urged to call Nampa Police Det. Shea Phillips at 208-468-5617 or Crime Stoppers at 208-343-COPS. Robbery is punishable by up to life in prison.
