BOISE, Idaho — Idahoans wanting to visit the animals at Zoo Boise or enjoy the shade at Julia Davis Park will not be able to use the river entrance to the park as road construction begins.
According to Boise Parks and Recreation (BPR), the river entrance to Julia Davis Park will be closed on Monday, June 15, for road repairs, and visitors will be detoured. The closure is expected to last three weeks.
The road construction will not affect Zoo Boise hours and will remain open, BPR said. Also, the section of the Greenbelt next to the construction area will still be open to the public.
