WASHINGTON COUNTY, IDAHO, Idaho — Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a crash that involved a school bus on Monday, March 11 at roughly 5 p.m. in Washington County.
The school bus, driven by a 67-year-old man from Midvale, was going north on US-95. The bus had two kids on board. The bus made a stop for unloading, and it was then that the bus was struck by a 2024 Peterbilt semi-truck. The semi-truck was driven by a 56-year-old man.
The school bus was flipped around and both vehicles stopped in the roadway, blocking traffic for about five hours.
Both of the drivers were transported to a local hospital via ambulance, and the two kids on board the bus were taken in personal vehicles to the hospital.
ISP is investigating.
