CALDWELL, Idaho — Saturday morning, Canyon County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) deputies teamed up with officers from a handful of agencies to help provide kids with school supplies, said a Facebook post from CCSO.

The 10th annual Shop with a Sheriff event, sponsored by Canyon County Law Enforcement Foundation, kicked off in Caldwell at Walmart off of Cleveland.

Roughly 50 kids teamed up with deputies and officers to shop for back-to-school necessities. Each child received $200 to spend on clothes, supplies, backpacks and more, CCSO said.

Five lucky kids even won a bike, courtesy of Walmart.

Agencies involved included Wilder Police Department, Parma Police Department, Middleton Police Department, Caldwell Police Department and the Canyon County Sheriff's Office.
