BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Coroner has identified the driver of a single car crash that took place July 2.
Gina Moore, 33, from Boise, was driving south on Owyhee Street in Boise at a high rate of speed, when she lost control and hit the median, said Boise Police.
Moore was taken to the hospital after the accident, and after life saving measures were performed, she was pronounced dead.
Boise Fire and Police responded to a single car crash on July 2 around 10 p.m. near North Owyhee Street and West Malad Street.
When first responders arrived, they provided life-saving care to two people, a woman and a man. They took both to local hospitals. The passenger of the car was in critical condition following the crash, and his current condition is unknown.
Boise Police believe that the driver was going south on Owyhee Street at a high rate of speed, and then lost control and hit the median between Malad Street and Owyhee Street. The car then caught fire.
Before first responders were able to get to the scene, bystanders were able to get the passenger out of the car. First responders were able to get the driver out and put out the fire.
An investigation is pending and is being completed by Boise Police Department.
