BOISE -- Even though it's technically still spring, it feels like summer today now that Boise's six municipal outdoor pools are open.
City officials want you to know all six Boise city pools are staffed by certified lifeguards.
They say what better way to spend the summer than by doing something healthy and fun like swimming.
"It's the beginning of a great season,' said pool manager Teresa Rostron. "We offer open swim, we also have swimming lessons for kids, swim team, adult lap swim. So we have lots of activities for the entire summer."
Season swim passes start at $30 for Boise city residents. Family passes and non-resident passes are also available.
