BOISE, Idaho — A small grass fire near Table Rock was quickly put out by firefighters. According to Boise Fire Department (BFD), they started receiving calls about the fire around 9:20 p.m., on Aug. 24, and it was controlled by 10:06 p.m.
"We are grateful that no structures were threatened but a Code Red was issued to notify neighbors in the area. There were also no injuries and no damage to property," BFD stated on social media.
The fire was below Table Rock between Table Rock and Windsong Dr and Warm Springs. It was very visible to people in the area, but the department confirmed they were able to put it out by using five Brush Trucks, three Engines, two Water Tenders and a drone unit from the Boise Police Department.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
