BOISE, Idaho — In a world filled with hard and often sad news, here's a story that might leave a smile on your face. A Boise neighborhood rallied together to help a bunny that had a dart in its head. Once it was discovered, they hatched a plan, trapped the bunny and took it to get medical care.
According to Joanna Hill, a person in her neighborhood, Jessica Graze, noticed a bunny that appeared to have a flower in his ear. Upon closer inspection she saw it was a dart sticking through its head. A few days later another person, Donna Frank, saw the bunny and then led the neighborhood into action.
Together, they were able to trap the bunny and then took him to Hidden Springs Animal Hospital. There, Dr. Zahn and staff removed the dart free of charge.
The bunny has been released back into "the wild" and hop-fully will lead a full and dart-free life.
