BOISE, Idaho — Ada County Sheriff's Office (ACSO), announced a teenager allegedly stole a car and led police on a short pursuit on Monday, Aug. 26
Around 10:30 a.m. Monday morning, Kuna Police tried to stop a stolen vehicle near North Ten Mile Road and West Ardell Road in Kuna. The driver of the car failed to stop and police pursued them.
The office said deputies attempted several PIT maneuvers to stop the car. The driver side-swiped a Kuna Police car, causing damage to the bumper and fender.
The chase ended roughly a mile and a half away, where the 17-year-old boy was taken into custody and booked into the Ada County Juvenile Detention Center. The boy is facing felony charges of Fleeing and Eluding and felony possession of a stolen vehicle.
