IDAHO, USA — The Bureau of Land Management/Fire (BLM) has issued a red flag warning for the state. The warning is in effect from noon until midnight on July 14. A red flag warning is when wildfires can easily start.
"A Red Flag Warning is in effect from noon to midnight. today for #BLMBODFire,#BLMTFDFire and #BLMIFDFire for scattered thunderstorms with little to no precipitation, abundant lightning and 50 mph outflow winds near the storms are possible. We can't prevent natural cause wildfires but we can prevent human caused wildfires. Use extreme caution today and tomorrow while enjoy Idaho's public lands. Fire danger is high. Let our firefighters and support staff focus on natural caused wildfires and not human caused wildfires," BLM stated on social media
