CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — Two adults and two minors from Nampa have died after their car was hit by a train near Notus. Idaho State Police (ISP), said the crash happened Saturday, April 13 at 8:20 a.m., in Canyon County near US-20, milepost 17.
ISP stated the Chevrolet Silverado was driving on a private road that intersects a railroad crossing. The driver didn't yield and was hit by the train.
The people in the car were all from Nampa, police haven't released the names but a 38-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman, and two minors all died at the scene.
ISP is investigating and KTVB will update this story as information becomes available.
