Weather update
The arctic air mass that kept our area abnormally cold the last few days helped set the stage for quick snow accumulation on the roadways, as surfaces are frozen and the snow stuck very quickly. Several inches of accumulation are expected through midday Wednesday in the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas, with off-and-on waves of precipitation rolling in from the west.
