JEROME COUNTY, Idaho — A woman is in the hospital after crashing into a Freightliner on U.S. 93. According to Idaho State Police (ISP), the crash happened on Saturday, Mar. 9 around 11 p.m., on U.S. 93 just west of Jerome.
A 28-year-old woman from Twin Falls was driving a 2016 Kia Soul headed south when she rear-ended a 58-year-old man from Buhl driving a 2020 Freightliner. ISP said the woman wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was taken to the hospital. The man was not hurt.
ISP said traffic was blocked for about an hour and a half while crews cleared the road, and they are investigating the crash.
