BOISE, Idaho — This Sunday morning on Viewpoint we share a Mother’s Day special on being a Mom in Idaho. Moms are important and often they do so much more than just being a mom. Some work, stay-at-home, work multiple jobs and are single-moms, but anyway you choose to do it, being a mom is hard work.
This week we are taking inventory on a new survey just published this week. Gallup polling and the Idaho group Supreme Moms released a report and analysis with new data from over 4,000 Idahoans on the roles, experiences and needs of mothers in our communities.
The findings show that while most people acknowledge mothers are essential to families and communities, many mothers do not have the help and support they need.
We have an exclusive in depth look at the data and conversation with Founder of SupreME Moms, Shannon McGuire.
McGuire and host Joe Parris dive into the report and talk about Idaho solutions.
Viewpoint airs every Sunday morning at 9 am on KTVB.
