IDAHO, USA — County elections offices across Idaho have started mailing out absentee ballots. According to a news release, the first wave of absentee ballots mailed was over 14,000.
"Whether you plan to vote absentee, vote early, or vote on Election Day, have a plan to vote in the Idaho May primary. The Idaho primary includes races for Congress, state legislators, and local races that impact your community. Every vote counts, so ensure your voice is heard by participating in this important election," said Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane.
The deadline for submitting absentee ballot requests for the May primary election is May 10 at 5:00 p.m. People who requested an absentee ballot should have it by next week. People can request absentee ballots and get more information at voteIdaho.gov.
