On Thursday, Maggie O'Mara shared with viewers one of her favorite recipes - turkey cinnamon rolls.

"On Thanksgiving morning at my house, we make turkey cinnamon rolls. I found these on the internet about five years ago! They look like cute little turkeys. These are so easy and fun for the family, or you can surprise your overnight guests at breakfast," O'Mara said.

Thanks to O'Mara, here's the recipe:

Turkey Cinnamon Rolls

  • Canned cinnamon rolls with icing
  • Bacon strips cooked for feathers
  • Pecan halves for the beak
  • Dried cranberries for the waddle
  • Candy eye balls
  • Pretzel sticks for the feet
  1. Bake cinnamon rolls (Canned for me! I like to stack a small one on top of a big one)
  2. Cook bacon until crispy (I use microwave bacon because it’s easy!)
  3. Drizzle frosting
  4. Tuck bacon strips into the back of each cinnamon roll so they stick up and look like tail feathers.
  5. Decorate turkeys with candy eyeballs, pecans and and dried cranberries
  6. Add pretzel sticks underneath each turkey for feet
