Sudden warm weather causes flooding in rural Twin Falls

With prolonged standing water, the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office said there is an increased risk of hydroplaning.

BOISE, Idaho — Winter storms left heavy snow across Idaho, followed by rain and warming temperature, leading to flooding on Southern Idaho roadways.

The Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office shared on its Facebook page that roads in the county have standing water over them, particularly near 3100 E. 3050 N. The office said that washout or standing water could cause drivers to hydroplane.

KTVB reached out to the sheriff's office to see if other streets were affected.
