MOSCOW, Idaho — Evacuations have been lifted for a wildfire burning outside Moscow, Idaho as of Saturday morning.
All roads have been reopened in the area.
According to the Idaho Department of Lands, the Wallen Fire is 100% contained and the cause of the fire is under investigation. IDL also said 50 structures were threatened by the fire, but none were lost.
The Latah County Sheriff told KREM 2 News on Friday they were evacuating a few houses, and no structures were lost. Several homes were evacuated just in the danger zone of the fire, according to the sheriff.
The sheriff's office said the fire started around 3-3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon and was moving south.
It is not known at this time as to how the fire started. The fire has burned 125 acres.
