Motorcyclist who died in West Boise crash identified

The 24-year-old motorcycle rider was rushed to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

BOISE, Idaho — A motorcycle rider died at a Boise hospital after a crash Tuesday evening, police said.

The crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Chinden Boulevard and Five Mile Road.

Boise police say the crash involved the motorcycle and an SUV. The 24-year-old motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

He was not wearing a helmet, police said.

The driver of the SUV had minor injuries, but was not taken to the hospital. 

The Ada County coroner has identified the deceased man as Miguel Angel Prada Camacho, 24, of Garden City. The cause of death is listed as blunt force trauma. Toxicology results are pending and could take several weeks.

Police are continuing the investigate the crash. At this point, no charges have been filed.
