Nampa man dies in motorcycle accident in Caldwell neighborhood

Idaho State Police say the crash happened just after 2 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, near the intersection of Montana and 18th avenues in Caldwell.

CALDWELL, Idaho — A 37-year-old Nampa man died in a motorcycle accident that happened after police say he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a home.

Idaho State Police say the crash happened just after 2 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, near the intersection of Montana and 18th avenues in Caldwell.

Jose M. Mascorro of Nampa was driving southbound on 18th Avenue when he lost control of his 2013 Honda motorcycle, slid through Montana Avenue and crashed into a home, according to investigators.

Mascorro died from his injuries at the scene of the crash and police believe he was wearing a helmet.
