Martin Luther King Jr's granddaughter, Yolanda Renee King, told the world Saturday that "enough is enough" when it comes to gun violence.
"My grandfather had a dream that his four little children will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character," King declared. "I have a dream that enough is enough. And that this should be a gun-free world. Period."
Yolanda spoke alongside Parkland shooting survivor Jaclyn Corin as hundreds of thousands of people filled the streets in the nation's capital and in cities across the United States to protest for gun control.
The D.C. protest was just down the road from the Newseum where signs featuring Martin Luther King Jr. promoted the 'Civil Rights at 50' exhibit.
“Spread the word…have you heard, all across the nation, We are going to be a great generation,” Yolanda Renee King proclaimed with the crowd repeating after her.
