BOISE - KTVB-TV has partnered with Facebook for a new Election Day live event, called #50states.
Using the social media giant's Facebook Live video service, one media outlet in each state will produce a 15-minute live video centered on the presidential election. The content will be featured on Facebook's Election 2016 site on Tuesday, and include the hashtag #50states.
KTVB is the official broadcast partner for Idaho, and will provide live election coverage and analysis.
Our 15-minute Facebook Live coverage began at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, and will include a live interview with Sen. Jim Risch (R - Idaho) from the Cathedral of the Rockies, a polling place in downtown Boise. We will also have in-studio analysis with KTVB political analyst Dr. Jim Weatherby.
