Nampa City Council candidates meet in election forum

The five candidates running for Nampa City Council talked about some of the big issues affecting the city.

NAMPA, Idaho — A forum in Nampa Wednesday night gave voters a better idea of who they will cast their votes for during the upcoming election.

The five candidates running for Nampa City Council talked about some of the big issues affecting their area, including growth and transportation. See the full video from the forum below. 

The public was invited to attend the forum at Nampa City Hall, which was hosted by the Idaho Press and Nampa Chamber of Commerce.

Idaho Press editor Holly Beech served as the moderator.

For seat 4, incumbent Sandi Levi has two challengers: Jeff Cornilles and Michael Gable.

For seat 6, Jacob Bower is running against Scott Glover. Incumbent Bruce Skaug is not seeking reelection to the council.

Darl Buner is running unopposed for seat 2.
