Idaho Democratic Convention happening at University of Idaho this weekend

The convention is on June 22 and 23 at the University of Idaho in Moscow

MOSCOW, Idaho — The Idaho Democratic Party State Convention is taking place this weekend.

The Idaho Democratic Party State Convention is being held at the University of Idaho on Saturday, June 22, and Sunday, June 23. There will be hundreds of Democrats from all across Idaho for this year's convention.

There will be over 300 delegates from across the state that were elected at the Idaho Democratic Presidential Caucus that will join the Idaho Democratic State Central Committee this weekend.

This weekend, delegates and State Central Committee Members at the convention will nominate Idaho's preferred candidate for the U.S. presidency within the Democratic Party. They will do this by electing delegates who will then attend the Democratic National Convention.

Registration for elected Delegates and State Central Committee Members has already closed. The deadline to register was Friday, June 7.
