You're invited to Friday's inauguration at the Idaho Statehouse

For the first time in 12 years, a new Idaho governor will take the oath of office.

This Friday, Governor-elect Brad Little and all state constitutional officers will be sworn in during a ceremony at noon.  

It will all take place on the south steps of the state Capitol building in Boise.

The event is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

Several streets will be closed for the inauguration.

Jefferson Street between 6th and 8th streets will be closed Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.

8th Street between Jefferson and State streets will also be closed.

We will have live coverage of that ceremony on KTVB and KTVB.COM beginning at noon on Friday.
