No suspect found during SWAT search in Ontario

The Malheur County Sheriff said the target of the SWAT from the drug task force wasn't found but they did take a woman into custody.

MALHEUR COUNTY, Ore. — There was a large police presence in Ontario, Oregon on Thursday, Jan. 11 due to a SWAT that was performed by the Oregon State Police (OSP). According to the Malheur County Sheriff, Travis Johnson, the High Desert Drug Task Force (HDDTF), they had information that a man who had a felony warrant was in the area. The man was not found but police did arrest a woman.

Johnson told KTVB that 36-year-old Jessica Lynn Palmer Haase from Vale, Oregon was arrested for a felony warrant for criminal mischief in the first degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, giving false information to the police and criminal trespass. 

The sheriff said law enforcement is still investigating the man and they do not believe there is a threat to the public at this time.
