MERIDIAN, Idaho — Having a nice bed to sleep in at night is, unfortunately, a challenge for a lot of children throughout the Treasure Valley, but a local charity is working to change that.
"Sleep in Heavenly Peace" builds and provides bunk beds for families in need throughout the country.
The charity is now setting up a brand new warehouse in Meridian. With more space, the nonprofit says they're hoping to build 200-300 bunk beds for Treasure Valley children in need.
"They go to kids from as far north as Riggins, Idaho and east to Mountain Home and then as far west as Ontario, Oregon," Liz Colton, the Boise Chapter president, said. "We have kids all over."
