REXBURG, Idaho — Sitting on 3.75 acres of land in the peaceful town of Rexburg, Idaho, a home with four bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms is up for sale. However, in capitalized letters reads a warning for this home listing: "There is a very tragic situation with this home, please have your realtor investigate for you."
The Fremont County home once belonged to Chad Daybell, a convicted murderer who was sentenced to death earlier in June 2024. Daybell was sentenced for the murders of his late-wife Tammy Daybell, and Tylee Ryan and JJ Vallow, the children of his second wife Lori Vallow.
As previously reported by KTVB, Tammy Daybell was killed within the home – located at 202 N 1900 E, Rexburg, Idaho – in October 2019. JJ and Tylee's bodies were both found behind the house in various amounts of decay in June 2020.
After the bodies were found on the property, Chad was taken into custody. He faced a death-penalty trial that began in May 2024, and after eight weeks inside the Ada County courtroom, the jury found Chad guilty on all nine counts he was facing.
The nearly 1,900 square-foot property is listed with an asking price of $350,000.
