104th annual Snake River Stampede takes over the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa

The Snake River Stampede is one of the top 10 regular season professional rodeos in the nation.

BOISE, Idaho — The Snake River Stampede takes to the dirt at the Idaho Center in Nampa on July 16 with action taking place nightly through July 20.  

Join KTVB as we partner with the Snake River Stampede to support Stampede for the Cure and the Alcohol-Free Saturday Family Matinee.

Stampede for the Cure Helps Local Women Get Mammograms

Stampede for the Cure has been helping Treasure Valley women since 2006 and has raised over $700,000 for this important, life-saving effort.    

  • One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
  • Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women.
  • Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death among women.
  • Each year it is estimated that over 266,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer and more than 40,000 will die.
  • Idaho ranks 50th in the nation for screening.

Show your Support for Stampede for the Cure by Wearing Pink

The Snake River Stampede and KTVB invite you to wear pink to the “Stampede for the Cure” on Wednesday, July 17.  Check out the Stampede for the Cure Facebook page or website for more information.

Alcohol-Free Family Matinee to be held at Snake River Stampede

Save the date!  The Snake River Stampede’s Alcohol-Free Family Matinee is Saturday, July 20.  Doors open at 10:30 AM.  Pre-rodeo events kick off at 11:15 AM with the rodeo starting at noon.  No ticket is required for children ages 2 or younger that will be sitting on a lap.  Juniors 3-12 are free in the P4 general admission (upper bowl) area for the Saturday Matinee (no ticket required).
