BOISE, Idaho — With district tournaments on deck and roughly three weeks until state championships tip off, the latest Idaho high school boys basketball state media poll paints a clear picture of the top teams entering postseason play.

Five teams remained the unanimous No. 1 in their respective classification on Tuesday. Without a loss in SIC play, Owyhee headlines the 5A rankings, while Meridian moved from a fifth-place tie with Timberline into the No. 4 spot.

Only the 1A DII classification didn't see the top-ranked team sweep all first-place votes. Camas County continues to lead the rankings, followed by Garden Valley. Both squads have lost just two times this season.

Wendell (2A) and Kamiah (1A DI) entered the state media poll this week. Also trending upwards is New Plymouth (2A) and Lakeside (1A DI). 16 teams within KTVB's coverage area appeared in their classification's top five on Tuesday.
