BOISE, Idaho — A new week, another new No. 1 team in the Idaho high school football state media poll. Tuesday's rankings mark the third time in four weeks a new squad has soared to the top of their classification.
Aberdeen climbed into the 3A classification's throne after previously top-ranked West Side fell 6-0 at Declo. The Hornets moved up to No. 2 from No. 4, while the Pirates dropped to the fourth-ranked spot.
Four new squads entered their classification's top five Tuesday, including Hillcrest (5A) and Glenns Ferry (2A). The Knights improved to 3-2 on the season with a dominant 3-2 win over Shelley, and the Pilots handed Raft River its first loss of the season
