BOISE, Idaho — League title races ramp up this weekend with marquee high school football matchups in the Southern Idaho Conference and beyond.
Borah kicked off rivalry week by beating Capital 38-21 on Thursday. Boise improved to 3-0 and handed Timberline its first loss of the season Friday with a 28-19 victory.
No. 1 Rocky Mountain captured a 61-7 win at Mountain View in the annual Battle of the Mountains rivalry game. Owyhee also remains undefeated after knocking off Meridian 35-19.
Emmett celebrated homecoming in style with an impressive 49-13 win against Ridgevue in KTVB's Game of the Week. A collision of fourth-ranked teams saw state runner-up Declo (3A) secure a 24-0 shutout against previously unbeaten Buhl (4A).
