BOISE, Idaho — For most teenagers, turning 18 means freedom, the beginning of adulthood.
For Vallivue senior Amoro Lado, it also meant breaking his own school scoring record less than a month after he set it.
Lado had 42 points and 12 rebounds in the Falcons' (5-2, 6-6) two-point win over rival Bishop Kelly (3-4, 6-6) Friday night, which also happened to be his 18th birthday.
Back on December 13th, Lado scored 41 points in the Falcons' 78-50 rout of Ridgevue.
Those 41 points were scored in just three quarters.
Lado already has several collegiate offers, including a full ride to the College of Southern Idaho.
National Signing Day is February 6.
