BOISE, Idaho — Boise State men's basketball is returning to KTVB for five home games during the 2024-25 campaign, starting with the season opener at ExtraMile Arena.

KTVB Channel 7 and Boise State Athletics on Thursday announced its bringing the Mountain West preseason favorites back to fans for free over the air on 24/7 and streaming on the KTVB+ app for Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV

Three contests will air on KTVB's digital platforms  – KTVB+, KTVB.COM and the KTVB mobile app – and on 24/7 in the Boise and Twin Falls markets. The trio includes the Broncos' debut against Oakland at 7 p.m. on Nov. 6 and the conference opener at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 21 against Air Force.

24/7, which was recently upgraded to HD, also plays host to a Mountain West showdown between Boise State and Fresno State at 2 p.m. on Feb. 1 in the City of Trees. 24/7 is available over the air on channel 7.2 or 7-2 depending on your TV brand.

Two games will stream solely on KTVB+ this winter – a Tuesday night tilt against Texas Southern on Dec. 17 (7 p.m.) and Boise State's battle with Wyoming at 7 p.m. on Jan. 14. Click here for more information on watching Idaho's Newschannel 7 on KTVB+.

Boise State men's basketball was picked as the preseason favorite to win the Mountain West regular-season title for the first time in program history earlier this month. The Broncos topped the predicted order of finish with 19 first-place votes and 276 points, ahead of New Mexico, Nevada and San Diego State.

Standout forward Tyson Degenhart enters his highly-anticipated senior campaign as the Mountain West preseason player of the year, as voted on by select media members. He became the third Bronco to ever earn the award, joining Derrick Alston Jr. (2020-21) and Chandler Hutchison (2017-18).

Head coach Leon Rice enters his 15th year guiding the Broncos with a career record of 268-155. Boise State seeks its fourth straight 20-win season and fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament

Boise State was the only team with three players on the preseason all-conference team. Degenhart was honored alongside senior forward O'Mar Stanley and San Jose State transfer guard Alvaro Cardenas.
