BOISE, Idaho — The stage is set for a sold-out showdown at ExtraMile Arena as Boise State hosts No. 18 Utah State with first place in the Mountain West up for grabs.
Saturday's contest marks the first meeting between the Broncos and Aggies this season, with both squads touting a 5-1 record in conference play. Utah State, who debuted in the AP Top 25 Poll on Jan. 8, has only lost one game since mid-November.
Boise State (14-5, 5-1 MWC) received nine votes in the latest poll following its thrilling 67-66 win over San Diego State last weekend. The Broncos can claim their third-straight victory and sole possession atop the standings by upsetting the Aggies (17-2, 15-1).

The Broncos are 9-1 on their home court. Boise State is fifth in the Mountain West with 24.3 defensive rebounds per game, led by O'Mar Stanley averaging 3.7.
