Boise State, Jacksons unveil new football trading cards featuring 2024 roster

The new set features autographed cards from Bronco standouts and an Ashton Jeanty special edition "Hei2man" card. Packs go on sale Friday in the Treasure Valley.

BOISE, Idaho — A new set of collectible trading cards showcasing the Boise State football team has arrived ahead of the highly-anticipated 2024 season.

Boise State Athletics and Jacksons Food Stores on Tuesday announced every player on the Bronco football roster is featured in the new set, available Friday at Jacksons and ExtraMile locations in the Treasure Valley.

Each pack costs $12.99 and includes 15 cards, with a one-in-10 chance of securing a signed signature card from Boise State standouts listed below.

The updated set of cards adds to the excitement surrounding star running back Ashton Jeanty. Select packs will include a special edition "Hei2man" trading card. The "Our City" card is also new, featuring staples of Boise.

Signature Cards - Offense: Latrell Caples (WR), Ashton Jeanty (RB), Maddux Madsen (QB), Malachi Nelson (QB), Mason Randolph (OL)

Signature Cards - Defense/Special Teams: Ty Benefield (S), Jonah Dalmas (K), Ahmed Hassanein (DE), Marco Notarainni (LB), Seyi Oladipo (S), Andrew Simpson (LB)

"I've always wanted to have my own trading card," Benefield said. "When I was a kid, my dad, who played in the Canadian Football League, had his own cards, I thought it was just the coolest thing, and for it to happen now for me, it's just an amazing feeling. I'm so thankful for God watching over me and blessing me with great health and a great year last year, but this year I'm coming for it all. Thank you Bronco Nation. My love for you is strong. Let's keep this thing rolling!"

Boise State and Jacksons launched the first-of-its kind trading card set featuring Bronco football players in October 2022. The partnership expanded in February 2023 to include every team within Boise State Athletics.

"Thank you to Jacksons, and everyone involved in bringing the cards to life, and to Bronco Nation for the overwhelming response," Director of Athletics Jeramiah Dickey said. "The Jacksons trading cards are an incredible collectible for Bronco fans of all ages, especially a soon to be coveted card to celebrate the special player we have in Ashton. I am so proud to be part of a community that supports our student-athletes to the fullest extent."

The cards are created by Boise-based ONIT Athlete, the team name, image and likeness trading cards for collegiate athletics, Tuesday's announcement said.

"We're humbled by the Bronco community's overwhelming excitement each year as we release their team's trading cards," Jacksons Food Stores President Cory Jackson said. "Their response gets us excited about creating standout editions year after year with ONIT Athlete and BSU. We're pleased to feature the entire Bronco football team and we can't wait to see what the boys do on the blue this season."
