BOISE, Idaho — The 2024 Boise State football team makes its debut in front of Bronco Nation with the annual spring game on Saturday underneath the sun at Albertsons Stadium.
After 14 practice sessions and a pair of scrimmages, Saturday puts a bow on the spring season for head coach Spencer Danielson and Co. The jam-packed event includes autographs, giveaways and the premiere of Optimist Youth Football's new girls flag football program.
Boise State hits The Blue at 1:30 p.m. for warmups and individual drills, before the scrimmage kicks off at 2:30 p.m. Danielson said the second half will feature live tackling. The first half will use a wrap-up tempo, without tackling to the turf.
General admission is free and fans can use Entry 2 and Entry 3 on the southeast and southwest corners of Albertsons Stadium starting at 12:30 p.m. Parking lots and the Bronco Shop open at 11 a.m. Saturday, with the Lincoln Parking Garage also available.
The Broncos are leaning into the hype of 2023 Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year Ashton Jeanty with a giveaway Saturday. The first 750 fans through the gate will receive a free "HEI2MAN" t-shirt featuring the star running back.
Boise State also plans to give out more than 4,000 Jeanty and 2024 schedule posters. Following the scrimmage, fans are invited to join players on the field for a 20-minute autograph session. One personal item is permitted for signatures, along with the spring game poster.
