BOISE, Idaho — Following an off week, the Boise State Broncos are at 17 in the AP Top 25 Poll. However, the team kept their 19th ranking in the US LBM Coaches Poll.
"Boise State has the nation’s third-best scoring offense (46.8 ppg) and fourth-ranked total offense (523.0 ypg) to compile a 5-1 (2-0 MW) record this season. The only demerit on the slate so far was a 37-34 decision at then-No. 7/6 Oregon as the Ducks hit a field goal as time expired to escape the Bronco threat," a news release stated.
The team is now at 116-21, and received 573 points in this week's poll, that's up 15 from last week.
"The Broncos also lead the nation in sacks (4.83 spg) and matched a season-high eight sacks in the win at Hawai’i. The Broncos registered four sacks earlier this season against that same Oregon team that has not allowed a sack since," stated the release.
The next game is on the road against UNLV on Friday, Oct. 25.
