BOISE, Idaho — On Thursday night, under the lights, the Boise State Broncos open the 2021 season on the road with a highly anticipated matchup against the University of Florida Knights in primetime.

As the 'Official Station of Bronco Nation,' Boise State fans can keep up with all the scores, updates and highlights from Thursday's game with KTVB's Game Tracker and live blog.

The matchup is set to kick off at 5 p.m. MT in Orlando, FL at the Bounce House on UCF's campus. However, Florida weather had another idea for the Broncos. The game was delayed several times due to lightning strikes near the stadium. The game didn't start until 7:45 p.m. MT.

The last time Boise State traveled to Florida in 2019, a hurricane forced the game to be relocated from Jacksonville to Tallahassee, the home of the Florida State Seminoles. The Broncos won 36-31 after the team then-true freshman quarterback Hank Bachmeier led Boise State's 18-point comeback victory.

The Knights' home field is expected to be packed with UCF faithful and members of Bronco Nation who made the cross-country trip. The game will air on ESPN.
