SAN JOSE, Calif. — The Boise State Broncos prevailed Saturday night after a heart-pumping game that kept both teams neck-and-neck. The Broncos ultimately beat San Jose State, 52-42.
The Boise State Broncos started behind and didn't take the lead against the San Jose Spartans for the first time in the third quarter. Unfortunately, the Spartans took the lead back shortly after.
But in the fourth quarter, the Broncos got back on top while San Jose State continued to keep the score close, bringing the score to 45-42 with less than 4 minutes in the fourth quarter. Boise State scored a touchdown with less than 2 minutes in the fourth quarter, bringing the Boise State Broncos to 4-0 in the Mountain West Conference and 7-1 for the season.
