BOISE - Alex Ogle, the fourth-string quarterback for the Boise State football team, has decided to transfer.
Ogle confirmed to KTVB's Jay Tust on Sunday that he will transfer to Arizona Western, a community college in Yuma, Arizona.
The freshman redshirted in 2014, but failed to crack the top three of the quarterback depth chart at the beginning of the 2015 season. Ogle was fourth in line behind Ryan Finley, Brett Rypien, and Tommy Stuart.
He played sparingly in relief during the Broncos' blowout wins of Hawaii on Oct. 10 and Northern Illinois in the Poinsettia Bowl last week. Ogle had two rushing attempts for a total of five yards and no passes attempted during those two games.
