Idaho Vandal, NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Kramer announces Packers' second-round pick

Jerry Kramer will officially be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame just over three months from now. This weekend, he helped welcome a member of the NFL's 2018 rookie class.

DALLAS -- Idaho Vandal and Green Bay great Jerry Kramer announced the Packers' second-round pick Friday night at the 2018 NFL Draft.

KTVB Sports Director Jay Tust caught up with Kramer after the announcement.

"Do you know anything about the pick you announced?" Tust asked.

"No!" Kramer said as he laughed. "I know his name is Jackson!"

The Packers selected Iowa center back Joshua Jackson.

Kramer says he was invited by the Packers to announce their second-round pick.

"The Hall of Fame enhances everything, makes everything a little more special," Kramer said about announcing the pick.

Kramer and the rest of the NFL Hall of Fame class of 2018 will be formally enshrined on August 4 in Canton, Ohio.
