BUFFALO, N.Y. — The show must go on, and Rob ray did just that after getting hit in the face with a hockey puck last night.
Popular sports broadcaster, and former NHL player Rob Ray had an unexpected turn of events while working last night's Sabres game against the Arizona Coyotes. But, luckily as assured by the Sabres, he is ok.
The announcer had been sitting between benches while broadcasting the game when the puck soared up and hit him in the face. He was attended to by trainers, and patched up all while continuing to announce.
The Sabres took the win over the Coyotes with a final score of 5-2. Hitting the road, the Sabres will be facing off against the Colorado Avalanche on December 13 in an away game at 10:00 p.m.
