Seattle Seahawks '12 Tour' coming to Boise
The Seattle Seahawks are coming to Boise this summer.

BOISE -- The Seattle Seahawks are coming to the City of Trees.

As part of the Seahawks "12 Tour," the NFL franchise with the most wins over the last two seasons will make Boise their lone stop in the state of Idaho this year.

Seahawks wide receivers B.J. Daniels and Ricardo Lockette, alumni, members of the Sea Gals, Blue Thunder band, and the team mascot will be in town Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18.

Boiseans are invited to sign a 10' x 6' "12th man" flag to commemorate the tour. The flag will be presented to Seahawks' head coach Pete Carroll during training camp

It will be hung outside the team's locker at CenturyLink Field in Seattle.

"We are excited to visit Seahawks fans in Boise and throughout the Treasure Valley to thank the 12's for their on-going support," said Seahawks vice president of community outreach Mike Flood.

The festivities start at noon on July 17 with a ceremonial flag raising at Boise's City Hall Plaza. Children from Boise Parks and Recreation programs, Boys and Girls Club and Treasure Valley YMCA will serve as the city's VIP ambassadors.

The 12 Tour will resume the following morning at Dona Larsen Park with "12 Fest," which goes from 10:00-to-1:00 PM. The Sea Gals and Blue Thunder band will perform, in addition to interactive games, drills, photo opportunities, and drawings for game tickets and training camp access.

The event is free, however, due to space limitations, fans must pre-register to attend 12 Fest at Seahawks.com/12Tour.
