CALDWELL, Idaho — Lanes are back open after a wreck in Caldwell caused backups Friday morning.
The crash happened at about 11:10 a.m. on the eastbound side of Interstate 84 between Exit 28 to 10th Street and Exit 29 to Franklin Road.
The crash caused major delays, with a long line of cars and trucks blocked behind the collision site.
Drivers were asked to use an alternate route, use "extreme caution," and be on the lookout for emergency personnel working in the area.
It is unclear how many vehicles are involved in the wreck, or if anyone was hurt. Overnight snow and icy roads contributed to a number of slideoffs around the Treasure Valley Friday, but it is unclear if weather conditions played a role in this crash.
