Fatal crash south of Mountain Home

MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho — Idaho State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash south of Mountain Home.

The crash occurred at around 12:39 a.m. on Sunday, February 20 on State Highway 51 near milepost 87 in Elmore County.

A Ford pickup, driven by a 33-year-old male from Nampa and three occupants, was traveling northbound on Highway 51, when the vehicle left the roadway, overcorrected and rolled.

A female passenger not wearing her seatbelt succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.

A juvenile not in a child safety restraint, was transported to a local hospital by an air ambulance. The male was also transported to a local hospital.

Next of kin have been notified and ISP are investigating the crash.
