BOISE, Idaho — The westbound lanes of Interstate 84 are reopened in eastern Oregon after officials closed them due to a semi crash Thursday afternoon, the Oregon Department of Transportation reported.
The closure began around 3 p.m. and stretched from La Grande to Cabbage Hill, milepost 265 to milepost 224. ODOT on social media said drivers should expect "a lengthy closure" from the crash, which occurred near milepost 247 westbound.
Officials said the Exit 259 westbound onramp was also closed but may be open to local traffic if staff was available for the traffic sorting checkpoint site on U.S. 30.
