DUBOIS, Idaho — It's only October, but it's looking a lot like winter in eastern Idaho.
Snow and icy conditions shut down a 30-mile stretch of Interstate 15 in both directions on Wednesday. The closure stretches from Dubois to the Montana state line.
According to the Idaho Transportation Department, high winds have been reported in the area and snow is blowing over the roadway, completely covering it in some spots.
The road is slick and visibility is low in the area.
It's unclear how long the closure will remain in place. For the latest on travel conditions, click here.
