More snow is expected to fall in the Treasure Valley as a blast of arctic air moves in overnight. We could experience some record cold high temperatures, according to KTVB meteorologist Bri Eggers. The cold temps will likely feel colder because of the bitter wind. Dress warmly if you are headed outside.
It will really feel like winter with wind chills in the teens and 20s throughout the day. There is a wind advisory in effect through Tuesday morning.
The forecast high for Boise is 36 degrees. The record cold high temp for October 29 is 37 degrees.
Snow is expected to fall overnight but not much accumulation is expected. About a half inch in McCall, an inch in Stanley and some light flurries in the Treasure Valley.
This cold weather is not expect to last. A warming trend is on the way. Temperatures are expected to be back near normal by the weekend.
